Staff Engineer Application Manager

In your new role you will:
To Support Customers in India for Industrial Power Control (IPC) Product lines – Home Appliance applications. To assist Infineon India Sales, Business Development and Distributor Field Application Engineers to develop and expand IPC market in India. Act as frontend technical contact and Directly work with design engineers of core customers in Home appliance segment in India’s North region to address all technical issues. 
Work closely with System Application and Product line team to provide technical solution for customer issues. 
Technical product promotion of industrial power semiconductor products to India customers. 
Present technical workshop to customers, distribution field application engineers and sales 
Capture local product requirements and assist in defining new product specifications 
Adapting reference designs to support customer system design activities

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• 2-4 years’ experience in 3-phase Motor control algorithm development and power electronic converter design.
• Experience in field application engineering and support of semiconductor products is preferred.

Skills:
o Motor control algorithms: Field oriented control / Scalar control / Trapezoidal control for 3-phase AC motor/ BLDC/PMSM motors
o Embedded C development tools (IDE/Debugger) for 16/32-bit microcontrollers platform
o Power electronics system design especially 3-phase Inverters for BLDC/PMSM or AC induction motor
o Troubleshooting / debugging power electronic inverter systems
o EMI/EMC design, surge protection and safety standards

• Circuit schematic and PCB layout tools, e.g. OrCAD/Altium etc, and electrical simulation tools e.g. PLECS/SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink etc.
