Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University accredited by the Government of India, or any comparable qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Computer Knowledge: Candidates must have operating and functional knowledge of computer systems, i.e. a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the courses in High School/ College/ Institute.
• Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/ UT) for which a candidate desires to apply is preferred.

Penalty For Wrong Answer (Applies to Both Online Preliminary and Online Main Examinations) – There will be a penalty for incorrectly marked Objective Test answers. To arrive at the rectified score, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to each question for which the candidate provided an incorrect answer will be deducted as a penalty. There will be no penalty if a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate.
