JSSC Primary Teacher Recruitment 2024 – Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for Jharkhand JSSC Primary Teacher Vacancy 2024 must meet the following requirements.
For appointment of Intermediate Trained Assistant Professor in Primary School Classes 1–6
- Candidates must have passed +2 or Higher Secondary or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- a 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and a two-year diploma in Early Education/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)/Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Special Education OR
- Master’s degree in related topic with 55% marks and a three-year Bed-Med Course
- JTET paper 1 Qualified
For appointment of Graduate Trained Assistant Professors in Upper Primary (Classes 6 to 8)
- Passed +2 or Higher Secondary
- Graduation or equivalent and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Graduation with 50 % Marks with B.Ed (or)
- Senior Secondary and 4 years B.A/ B.Sc Ed/ B.Ed (or)
- Two-year B.Ed (Special)
- JTET Paper II Qualified

- Minimum – 21 years
- Maximum – 40 to 45 years depending on the category.
JSSC Primary Teacher Salary Details
Level 4 salary ranges from Rs.25,500/- to Rs.81,100/-, while Level 5 salary ranges from Rs.29,200/- to Rs.92,300/-.
