The deadline for submitting CTET application forms is set for May 26th, 2024. The Candidates can apply for CTET – July 2024 Online through the CTET website i.e. ctet.nic.in only. Eligibility Criteria for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024

CTET Academic Qualification

Paper 1	Passed with a minimum 50% in aggregate in 10+2 from CBSE or an equivalent recognized board of education and have a 2-year diploma in elementary education, OR Passed with a minimum 45% in aggregate in Senior Secondary from CBSE or an equivalent recognized board of education and is either pursuing or has completed D.Ed under the NCTE.
Paper 2	A graduation degree in any subject is required along with a 2-year diploma in the field of elementary education, either in the last year or completed D.Ed, OR Passed graduation with an average of 50% marks in aggregate and pursuing B.Ed (1styear)

To be eligible to apply for CTET, aspirants must be at least 17 years old, and there is no upper age limit.

CTET Exam Date 2024 Application Form

According to reports, the CTET Application Form 2024 is available. However, the official announcement has been made by the Central Board of Secondary Education in this regard. The CTET 2024 online application link will be active from 27.04.2024 to 26.05.2024 & correction window will remain open from 29 May 2024 to 02 June 2024. Aspirants from the general and other backward classes will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 for one paper and Rs 1200 for both papers to apply for CTET in July 2024. CTET exams are held twice a year. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test consists of two papers. Paper I is used to recruit teachers from grades 1 to 5 and Paper II is used to recruit teachers from grades 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach students in grades 1–8 must take both exams.
