TS DSC TRT Jobs 2024 Eligibility Criteria

School Assistant	The candidates must have completed their graduation/ postgraduate with B.Ed from a any recognized university/ Institution. (or) B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree AND Pass Paper II of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/ Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with Mathematics and Science as Optional.
Language Pandit	The candidates must have completed a Degree (Telugu / Hindi / Urdu/ Kannada/ Marathi/ Oriya/ Tamil/ Sanskrit) with B.Ed from a any recognized university/ College. (or) Must possess a 4-year B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. Integrated degree with at least 50% marks Pass Paper II of the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/ Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/  Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) with i. Mathematics and Science or ii. Social Studies as Optional.
Physical Education Teacher	Must possess Intermediate with minimum 50% marks. AND A Certificate/ Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education/ Diploma in Physical Education from an institution recognized by the NCTE. (Or) Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree. AND Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) of at least one year duration from any institution recognized by NCTE.
Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)	The candidates must have passed their Intermediate with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education course/Special Education in D. Ed/ 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education or its equivalent certificate recognized by NCTE. Pass Paper-I of Telangana State Eligibility Test (TSTET)/ Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)/ Central Teacher Eligibility Test. (CTET).

TS DSC 2024: Age Limit

The candidates should possess a Minimum of 18 years & Maximum of 46 years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2023 (Rule-12(1) (a) (v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules) and as per Adhoc Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.30 GAD (Services-A) Dept., Dated 08.02.2024 the upper age limit is 46 years for the ensuing recruitment.

Age Relaxations: 

The upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable in the following cases:

TS DSC Jobs 2024 – Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their Computer-Based Test (CBT) performance. For further information, see the sections below.

• School Assistants (SAs), Language Pandits (LPs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), and Special Education Teachers at the Primary Level in the category of Secondary Grade Teacher and Special Education Teachers in Upper Primary/Secondary Level in the category of School Assistant in Government and Local Body Schools in the State, selection would be based on the combined marks earned in the Written Test (DSC) 80% and Paper II of TET (20%). Weightage for Marks obtained in TSTET / APTET / CTET.
• Except  School Assistant (Physical Education) Selection of School Assistants (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) will be based on marks obtained in the Written Test (DSC).
• Selection will be based on the aggregate scores obtained in the Written Test (DSC-2023) 80% and Paper I of the TET (20%) Weightage.
• Recruitment will be purely based on a merit cum roster system as per the existing provisions being adopted by the Government of Telangana.

TS DSC Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

To submit their application forms for the TS DSC 2024 Examination, aspirants must pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- for each position. Application Fee can be paid through Payment Gateway from 04.03.2024 to 02.04.2024. The last date for fee payment is 02.04.2024, and once paid, it cannot be reimbursed.
