With over 25 years of leading a mobile medical group serving the elder community, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to travel between our onsite clinics throughout the Greater St. Louis Metro area.

Responsibilities:  

We empower you to provide comprehensive podiatric exams that meet or exceed the standards set forth by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and your state. Our Podiatrists manage a variety of diseases including but not limited to:

  • Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases
  • Perform Wound Care management
  • Diagnose and treat foot problems like skin and nail diseases, and tumors
  • Prescribe joint pain relief medication and foot orthoses that improve mobility
  • Review patients’ medical history
  • Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices
  • Order additional medical tests (like X-rays, ultrasounds, and bone density tests) to form a better diagnosis if necessary
  • Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
  • Provides education/consultation to patient, family, and health care team
  • Obtaining a complete medical history and writing reports
  • In addition to professional responsibilities, the Podiatrist will be part of a team engaging in marketing outreach and growing positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, fellow healthcare practitioners, and community organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Podiatrist

  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry
  • State Licensed or will be licensed to practice Podiatry (New Graduates) in the state in which you will be practicing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population so that goals are achieved
  • You must also be proficient with computers, have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR database
  • Create a satisfying journey for the patient through ongoing counseling and support
  • Be ambitious, motivated, and have a desire to be part of an industry that changes people’s lives daily
