Today’s Boston Club is a community of five hundred diverse, high-powered women leaders who come together from across sectors to support each other in the lifelong leadership journey and to shape the business landscape that advances women’s leadership.
As we celebrate The Boston Club’s 45th anniversary, and with the retirement of our long-standing Executive Director, The Boston Club is at an important inflection point. We seek a change champion, a proven and high-impact CEO, to take TBC into the next stage of our evolution. Throughout our impactful history, The Boston Club has been a premier organization for executive and professional women and the CEO will build upon this legacy.

We offer unparalleled programming, board preparation and placement, referral and procurement opportunities, and mentoring and coaching. As a force for change in advancing women’s leadership, our nationally recognized “Corporate Census of Women Directors and Executive Officers of Massachusetts Public Companies,” published in partnership with Bentley University, has been a change catalyst for two decades. We bring the voice of professional women to tables that matter in shaping the ecosystem that enables women’s leadership with respect to wage equity and early childhood care.
The Role
Chief Executive Officer
The (CEO) drives the expansion and execution of The Boston Club’s vision and mission of advancing women’s leadership. The CEO ignites the engagement of our members, engages sponsors, and builds relationships with multiple external stakeholders across all sectors. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for advancing revenue growth, energizing stakeholders, and building strategic partnerships. The CEO has managerial responsibility for internal staff, contractors, and volunteers.
At a high-level, key responsibilities include:
• Advancing The Boston Club’s Vision for Diversity in Women’s Leadership. (Expected through all areas of responsibility.)
• Leading Development, Outreach, and Revenue Growth. Amplify the Club’s Voice.
• Driving Organizational Health, including member engagement and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
•The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of increasing experience in non-profit leadership with an emphasis on established performance and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and demonstrated ability to lead an organization through change
•They will have a proven track record of revenue growth and fiscal management skills
•The ideal candidate will be a change agent who has demonstrated key qualities and competencies, including but not limited to:

Chief Executive Officer
Experience:
The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of increasing experience in non-profit leadership with an emphasis on established performance and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and demonstrated ability to lead an organization through change. They will have a proven track record of revenue growth and fiscal management skills.
Key Qualities and Competencies:

Minimum of BA/BS or equivalent experience in non-profit management, business, finance, or economics. Demonstrated, positive impact on issues that advance women’s leadership preferred.
