Objective:

To extend our services to more students abroad, especially in China, we are expecting a proven growth-minded Channel Marketing Director to join our growing team. The Channel Marketing Director will be developing channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns, and managing marketing communications.

To ensure success as a Channel Marketing Director, you would demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel marketing strategies and experience in the education consulting industry. Your expertise will result in optimized marketing strategies and increased profitability.

Job Description:

· Plan, organize, direct, and oversee the design and development of the company’s marketing strategies and their executions

· Identify trends in the Chinese education and training market and implement changes in marketing, branding, customer relations, and public relations according to the company’s strategic plan

· Effectively build and maintain a brand presence through systematic social media campaigns, development of media/press releases, and communication to existing and prospective partners in BC and China

· Responsible for the development of new channel marketing strategies and implementing marketing plans

· Determining which platforms to advertise on and adapting campaigns accordingly

· Work closely with the Executive Director to provide advice, guidance, and critical analysis on issues impacting the company’s recruitment goals and effectiveness in China and BC

· Lead Vancouver and China communication plans, promote a positive brand image, and achieve market expansion goals. Direct the marketing team to create marketing documentation, optimize social media platforms, evaluate and improve website contents, and press releases to position APASS as a leader in the education consulting industry

· Select, review, and analyze diverse data sets related to business performance (e.g. marketing performance, business process optimization, downstream analysis)

· Compile monthly/quarterly performance reports, analyze data and extract insights to inform up-to-date education policies, product strategy, and campaign development

· Manage and advance channel marketing communications (mass campaigns, available collateral, new marketing material, etc.) both offshore and onshore to keep partners and clients updated and engaged with APASS programs and services

· Support the teaching team in developing new programs catered to market needs. Guide the team’s advertising and student recruitment efforts

· Set departmental targets, track quantitative progress and report outcomes

· Manage and oversee daily operations within the marketing team

· Demonstrate good leadership with the ability to engage and develop team members

· Plan team growth and hire new team members when needed. Direct efforts in training new staff

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree with a background in marketing, communications, business administration, or related discipline preferred

· Minimum ten (10) years of direct work experience in the educational field

· Excellent performance in multi-channel marketing campaigns.

· Proven track record of brand promotion, planning, and partnerships building

· Good awareness of cultural competency

· Solid knowledge of education systems in both Asia and North America

· Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills

· Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

· Bilingual in both English and Mandarin is a Must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $48.50 per hour
