Vacancies for Medical Officers in the UPPSC 2024
Qualifications in Education
Those who have completed the MD/MS, Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate, or PG Diploma programs are eligible to apply for UPPSC MO Jobs 2024. Candidates can obtain post-specific qualification information directly from the Official Notification PDF.
Qualification for Preference
(1) Who has served in the territorial army for at least two years (2) Who has received a “B” certificate from the National Cadet Corps (3) Possessing a postgraduate degree or diploma in Medicine or Health Sciences recognized by the Medical Council of India
Age Restrictions
Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 40. (Age relaxation is permissible as per the rule for the reserved category candidates).

- (i) Unreserved/ Economically/ Weaker Sections/ Other Backward Class – Exam fee Rs. 80/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 105/-
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line
- processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
- Handicapped – Exam fee NIL/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-
- Ex-Servicemen – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
- Dependents of the Freedom Fighters/ Women – According to the original category
UPPSC Medical Officer Salary Details
The UPPSC officials will pay all selected candidates a pay scale of Rs. 67700 – Rs. 208700, Level 11.
UPPSC Medical Officer Selection Process
- Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the interview.
- If there are a large number of applicants for the post/posts, the Commission may conduct screening tests, which will be communicated in due course. A penalty will be imposed for incorrect answers given by candidates under the conditions of holding the screening test (Objective Type), as specified in the official notification.
