Civil Judge Salary at UPPSC
For UPPSC Recruitment 2024, the candidate will be paid Rs. 9000-14550 (Revised Pay Scale Rs. 27700-770-35090-920-40450-1080-44770).
Criteria for UPPSC Civil Judge Eligibility
- Must be a Bachelor of Law from a University established by law in Uttar Pradesh
- or from any other University of India recognized for this purpose by the Governor, or Must be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961,
- or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland, or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland, and be entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto;
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script.
UPPSC Civil Judge Age Restrictions
A candidate for direct recruitment to the service must be at least 22 years old and no older than 35 years old on the first day of July the following year, as per relevant service rules/requisition, i.e. 1st July 2024. They must have been born after July 1, 2001, and before July 2, 1988.
Civil Judge Exam 2024 – Selection Procedure
- The candidate will be shortlisted based on the results of the preliminary exam.
- Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to the Main Examination and Interview.
Fee for UPPSC Civil Judge Application
The following is the prescribed fee for the preliminary examination for various categories:
- Unreserved/Other Backward Classes/Economically Weaker Sections – Rs. 100/- Exam fee + Rs. 25/- On-line processing fee Total = Rs. 125/- Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes – Rs. 40/- Exam fee + Rs. 25/- On-line processing fee Total = Rs. 65/-
- Exam fee NIL+ for people with disabilities Total = Rs. 25/- Ex-Servicemen – Exam Fee Rs. 40/- + Online Processing Fee Rs. 25/- = Rs.65/-
- Freedom Dependents – According to their original category Female Fighters
