Salary Information for Punjab Police Constables
According to the Punjab Government Notification No. FD-FP-10MISC/87/2020-2FP1 dated 29th December 2020, the pay scale of the post-Constable under Punjab Police Recruitment 2024 is Rs.19,900/-, with a minimum pay of Rs. 19,900/- per month for three years from the date of joining in service.

- Minimum age as of 1st January 2024 – 18 years.
- Maximum age as of 1st January 2024 – 28 years.
Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 – Process of Selection
According to the Punjab Police Constable Notification 2024, the selection process will consist of three stages, which are as follows:
- Stage I: Stage I will consist of two Computer Based, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type Papers, Paper I and Paper II, with Paper II qualifying.
- Stage II will include a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Screening Test (PST). Both the Physical Measurement Test and the Physical Screening Test must be qualifying.
- Document Scrutiny will be the focus of Stage III.
- Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a medical examination as well as certificate verification.
NOTE: Merit will be determined, taking into account the available vacancies and the prescribed reservations for different categories, on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I after normalization, from among the candidates who qualify for Stages II and III of the selection process. The marks obtained by a candidate in the mandatory qualifying Punjabi Paper (Paper-II) will not be considered in the candidate’s overall score for merit calculation.
