Photographer

We are looking for a rare breed.

Obsessed with the craft and passionate about creativity, if you’ve ever thought at some point that ‘Singapore is too boring, we need something new’, and also have the chops to make a difference, we want you.

You are a maestro at creating mesmerizing pieces of visual and video content from a given concept and know your way around the tools of the trade. You know that every compelling story is nothing without rich imagery and can craft a strong narrative through nuances in color, lighting, and a strong composition. A strong aesthetic sense and an ear to the ground for the latest tech & trends are your hidden weapons.

As a Photographer/Videographer at EightX Lifestyle, you will be responsible for creating and post-production of visual assets with digital and print outputs, on a range of subjects spanning from food & drink photography and location shoots to covering events and people. You will have the satisfaction of seeing your works come to life in our various restaurants and help to build brands right from their launch. You will also be involved in creating assets for our beer brewery and exploring different (and sometimes unconventional) ways to present these narratives to our audience.

This is a dynamic start-up environment and you will have to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. You will be working in a team with inspiring individuals every bit as interesting and dynamic as yourself, where a diverse range of skills and passions is celebrated and built upon.

Requirements:

Photographer

• A conceptual thinker able to turn ideas into beautiful visuals and media
• Good communication and project management skills
• Able to organize and plan for shoots independently
• Able to think creatively and resourceful in finding cost-efficient and effective ways to problem-solving
• Meticulous in craft and well-versed in both production and post-production processes
• Very good proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with video editing and motion graphics know-how
• A degree in Graphic Design / Art preferred
• Has at least 2 years of experience in the creative industry

The position and salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
