Salary for PGCIL Diploma Trainee
- The Corporation provides selected candidates with a very attractive pay package of Rs. 27,500/- per month as a stipend during the one-year training period.
- After successfully completing the training, the candidates will be hired as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Supervisory category, with a salary of Rs. 25,000 -3%- 1,17,500. (IDA).
PGCIL Diploma Trainee Age Restrictions
Only Indian nationals over the age of 18 are eligible to apply for Diploma Trainee positions at Powergrid 2024.
Selection of Powergrid Diploma Trainees
- The written test is used to select candidates for the Diploma Trainee position (Computer Based Test only)
- Part I consists of a Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions pertaining to the respective discipline.
- Part II consists of a 50-question Supervisory Aptitude Test.
- The written test / computer-based test will be objective in nature and will last two hours and consist of two parts:
Application Fee for PGCIL Diploma Trainee
The application fee for UR/ OBC candidates is Rs.300/-, whereas SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
Important Dates for Powergrid Diploma Trainees in 2024
- The deadline for online application submission and payment of the application fee is December 9th, 2024.
- The deadline for online application submission and payment of application fees is December 31, 2024.
- The deadline for determining eligibility is December 31, 2024.
- Admit Cards are available on the website. A separate notification will be provided on the website.
