Eligibility Criteria for OSSC CGL Grade B & C Exams
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Good health, a good physique, and the absence of organic defects or bodily infirmities (Not applicable to physically Challenged candidates).
- must not have more than one living spouse
- The candidate must have passed the M.E. School Examination with Odia as a subject. OR
- Candidates must have passed the HSC examination or an equivalent examination in a non-language subject in Odia. OR
- The candidate passed a test in Odia in M.E. School standard conducted by Education Department.
Educational Qualifications for the OSSC CGL Exam 2024
The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, as well as proficiency with computers, the internet, email, word processing, data analysis, and presentation.
Age Limit for OSSC CGL Exam
- Candidates applying for the positions must be between the ages of 21 and 38 as of January 1, 2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SEBC, SC, ST, and all female candidates, and by 10 years for all other candidates.
- For candidates in the PwD category, as well as the total period of defense service rendered in the case of Ex-servicemen
