BMC Fire Brigade Jobs 2024 – Educational Requirements
- Candidate must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in Arts, Science, or Commerce on the first attempt, or
- Candidate must have passed the Secondary School Examination (10th Class) and have a graduation certificate from the Indian Army with a minimum of 15 years of service.
- Candidates must have completed the Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent or higher examination with a Marathi subject (higher or lower) and a 100-point paper.
- The candidate must meet the minimum physical requirements listed below.
- The minimum height is 172 cm (for men)
- The minimum height is 162 cm (for women)
- Chest: 81 cm. I. (normal), 86 cm (Inflated) (Women are not affected by the chest condition.)
- The minimum weight is 50 kg.
- Sight – Usual (Normal) without the use of glasses or other similar aids, Color Blindness: Should be disease-free.
Salary Information for BMC Firefighters
The current and prospective vacancies in the pay scale of “Fireman” in the pay scale of Rs.21700-69100 additional admissible allowances in the Mumbai Fire Brigade establishment in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
