LIC Recruitment of AAO Selection Process

THE LIC AAO Recruitment Selection process is divided into three stages. Check the details below.

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Mains Examination
  • Interview

LIC AAO Prelims Exam: The Preliminary examination is the first step of the LIC AAO selection process. The Prelims exam is objective in nature and is conducted online mode only.

LIC AAO Mains Exam: Applicants shortlisted based on performance in the Prelims exam will be called for the Mains exam. Approximately, 20 times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Mains exam. The LIC AAO Mains exam is conducted in Computer-Based Mode only.

LIC AAO Interview: Applicants meeting the LIC AAO Mains exam cutoff score will be eligible for the interview as well. The number of applicants to be called for an interview will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled.

LIC Recruitment of AAO Salary and Benefits

  • Basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090 and other
    admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent
    Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city
    will be approximately Rs. 92870/- per month in an ‘A’ Class city.
  • Other benefits are Defined as Contributory Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance, Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement of the cost of Briefcase/leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc. as per rules.
