Apprenticeship Stipend at IOCL

The Indian Oil Corporation Limited officials have specified that the monthly stipend payable to apprentices shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019, as amended from time to time.

Educational Qualifications for IOCL Apprentices

Candidates applying for IOCL Apprentice Job Vacancies should have the following qualifications.

• For Trade Apprentice – Matric with regular full-time employment 2 (two) year ITI course in respective discipline (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist course recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• For Technician Apprentice – 3 years regular full-time diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Instrumentation/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks aggregate for General, EWS, OBC-NCL  and 45% in case SC/ST/PwBD for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
• For Graduate Apprentice – Regular full-time Graduate (BBA/B.A/B. Com/B.Sc.) in any
  discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS & OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.

Note:

• Candidates who have previously undergone apprenticeship or are currently pursuing apprenticeship training in an industry under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961/1973/1992 as amended from time to time, or who have job experience for one year or more, are NOT eligible.
• Applicants who have completed three years in relevant discipline as of 31st July 2024, after acquiring the prescribed qualification as per the last semester/year mark sheet, will NOT BE ELIGIBLE for engagement as apprentices.

Age Limit for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Candidates applying for the IOCL Apprentice Vacancy must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years as of July 31, 2024.

Age Relaxation For IOCL Apprentice Job 2024

According to the IOCL Apprentices Notification 2024, the age relaxation should be the following which is tabulated below.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 – Selection Procedure

• The selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the online test and compliance with the notified eligibility criteria.
• The online exam will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Candidates who have been selected for the Online Test will be contacted for Document Verification and Pre-Employment Medical Fitness.
