Key Responsibilities/Duties:
• Responsible for ensuring overall hygiene activities in the food production areas.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with local regulatory laws (ADFCA) / International standards in Food safety.
• Evaluate the corrective actions taken for the non-conformance noted during the audits.
• Ensure that inspection, measuring and testing equipment are correctly controlled, calibrated and maintained.
• Monitor and check the personal hygiene conditions & working habits of the staff.
• Identify and report structural deficiencies in the food operation.
• Manage and maintain an effective pest control system.
• Manage and maintain a satisfactory waste disposal system.
• Review and follow up on the microbiological results from In house & external food laboratory.
• Manage and review food complaints effectively.
• Manage and maintain food safety (ISO 22000 & HACCP) documentation and records.
• Periodically review the food safety system.
• Conduct and Review training in food safety and hygiene for the food handlers.
• Ensure the top management is fully aware of high-risk areas for the food-borne illness.
• Coordinating with the maintenance department to implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Solving Customer complaints related to food safety and quality Audit supplier premises annual basis.
Requirements
Candidate Specification
Essential Candidate Requirements:
• Total 10 Years of experience
• Must have a Level 4 qualification in Food Safety, and a minimum of Level 3 qualification in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Should have the Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
• Should have experience with contractors and/or Operating Companies, in particular, those involved in the construction of major Oil and Gas facilities

• Ensure MacDonald HSE policies are at the forefront of all activities
• Adopting a proactive approach towards complex tasks and overall delivery
