Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist – Consult Service In Chicago, IL

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago are seeking a full-time child and adolescent psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary team providing consultation and treatment services to pediatric inpatients at a nationally ranked, freestanding children’s hospital located on the Feinberg School of Medicine campus. The faculty appointment will be as a non-tenure eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor/Asst Professor. Responsibilities include the provision of outpatient clinical services and clinical services as a member of the consultation/liaison-emergency psychiatry service, as well as teaching and engagement in scholarly activity.

Qualified candidates will have C/L and ED clinical experience (especially pediatric hospital-based) and ABPN certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is required. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus and training in Pediatrics is desirable.
