Full Job Description About Airplane Pilot
In addition to possessing the requisite skills of a professional pilot, our ideal candidate will aspire to provide a great experience to the people who travel on our airplane. We are looking for a pilot who works well as part of a team and exhibits enthusiasm for a varied flying schedule and resilience working in the field of on-demand flying.
The essential duties and qualifications for the position are summarized below. Previous G200 flying experience is desirable, but otherwise, well-qualified candidates that are not type-rated in the G200 may be considered. Prior 91/135 flying experience is also a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY: The position of Pilot is responsible for performing crewmember duties associated with the safe, efficient operation of the company plane. These duties relate to the requirements involved in safely moving people from place to place. The Flight Department operates both under Part 91 and Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. All non-flying duties will be recorded and tracked by the 135 certificate holder as duty time.
This is a full-time position offered at an annual rate of pay plus, PTO, and a 401k plan with an employer match up to 4%
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- File flight plans
- Obtain weather briefings
- Determine aircraft performance including weight and balance calculations
- Supervising the loading and fueling of the aircraft
- Performing flight crew briefings, passenger briefings, and flight attendant briefings as appropriate
- Electronic revisions including Foreflight & Jeppesen data, Gulfstream publications, 135 manuals, and other required manuals
- Recordkeeping includes flight logs, weight and balance, performance/runway analysis, and other required records and forms in paper and/or electronic format.
- Light airplane postflight cleanup to include cabin vacuuming, emptying trash, interior wipe-down, placing dishes/glassware in dishwashing machine, etc.
- Shopping and stocking the aircraft and hangar.
- Assistance with obtaining crew meals for the longer flights, if requested.
- Arranging crew overnight accommodations and rental cars, if requested.
- Positioning crew and passenger cars when necessary
- Attending recurrent airplane training twice per year (remote)
- Completing 135-required training and checking requirements (both online and remote)
- Comply with all FAA regulations and charter operator policies and procedures
- Comply with employer-specific policy and procedures
- Available for duty when assigned (91 and 135 flights). On-demand charter flights are occasionally assigned with reduced advance notice.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Airplane Pilot
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must possess an FAA ATP Certificate with Airplane Multiengine rating.
- Must hold a current FAA 1st Class medical certificate.
- No FAA sanctions, Accidents, or Incidents in the previous 5 years.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have a minimum of 4,000 TT, 4,000 fixed-wing, 2,000 PIC, 2,000 MEL, 1,000 Turbine, 500 Turbojet PIC.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – PIC CANDIDATES
- FAA ATP certificate with G200 type rating
- Flight experience (hours):
- 4000+ total time in airplanes
- 2500+ PIC
- 500+ turbine time
- 250+ PIC in-type G200
- Prior work experience at FAR 121 or 135 operation
