Required Educational Qualifications – APSC AE Jobs Notification
(I) The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Civil Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering) from a recognized Indian or foreign university, or a candidate must have passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering.
(ii) As stated in Point No. 1, the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology must be a Regular Course recognized by AICTE/ UGC (i). Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology obtained via Distance Education, under any name, will not be accepted.
(iii) In addition to English, the candidate should be fluent in at least one (one) of the official languages of the state of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo), with the exception of candidates from the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.
Age Restrictions – APSC AE Jobs Notification
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 38 years old on January 1, 2023. The upper age limit can be relaxed:
(I) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, bringing the total to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates, bringing the total age to 41 years, as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated April 25, 2018.
(iii) Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) by 10 years, regardless of SC/ ST/ OBC or General Category of the candidate, as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated January 7, 2019.
Fee for APSC AE Jobs Notification Application 2023
- General/EWS Candidates: Rs.250/- SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC Candidates: Rs.150/-
- Nil for BPL candidates
- Nil for PWBD candidates.
Salary of an APSC Assistant Engineer in 2023
- At Pay Band 4, all selected candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700.
