- The candidate must have completed SSC/Matric/Std X with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- Candidates with an ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) with 65% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.
Note: Candidates who passed the Covid-19 pandemic with certificates without marks/grade points/pass percentage will be eligible to take the written examination if they meet the other eligibility criteria.
- Candidates born on or before May 2, 2009, are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship training batch 2024-24.

The stipend is admissible based on the GoI Gazette Notification No. 561 dated September 25, 2019.
- First, candidates will be shortlisted based on their 10th and ITI grades.
- Candidates who have been shortlisted will be called for a written examination.
- Those who pass the written exam will be invited to the interview and medical examination.
