- Candidate must have passed the Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- Candidate should be born between 1st May 2002 – 31st October 2005 (Both dates inclusive) (Both dates inclusive)
Pay and benefits
- Agniveers will be paid Rs. 30,000 per month with a fixed yearly raise. Furthermore, risk and hardship, clothing, and travel allowances will be paid.

- Stage I (INET Computer-Based Examination) – Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Indian Navy Entrance Test.
- Stage 2 (Written examination, Physical Fitness Test, and Initial Medical) – Candidates who pass the INET examination (computer-based online examination) will receive a call-up letter for the written examination, PFT, and Initial Medical.
- Stage 3 (Final Medical Examination) – All selected candidates will have their final Recruitment Medical Examination at INS Chilka.
- The candidate must pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus 18% GST during the online application process.
