NTPC Executive Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Executive ( Carbon Capture & Utilization):
  1. Ph.D. in Carbon Capture/Utilization from a reputed university/Institute.2. ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/C&I/ Environmental with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.3. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/C&I with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Executive ( Hydrogen ):
  1. Ph.D. in an area related to Hydrogen Generation Process from a reputed university/Institute.2. ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/C&I with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.3. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/C&I with at least 60% marks from a  recognized university/institute and a minimum of  7 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Executive (Waste to Energy): 
  1. Ph.D. in an area related to the Biomass Process from a Reputed university/Institute.2. ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical with 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.3. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of  7 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Executive (Civil Design):
  1. ME/M.Tech/B.Tech/BE Civil with at least 60% marks from recognized University/Institute.2. Minimum post-qualification experience of 5 and 7 years in detailed process engineering.
• Executive ( Infrastructure):
  1. ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical with 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and minimum post-qualification experience of 2 years in Infra Management in any Plant, Office, Institute, etc.2. B.Tech/BE Civil with at least 60% marks from Recognized University/Institute and minimum post-qualification experience of 4 years in Infra Management in any Plant, Office, Institute, etc.
• Executive ( Program Office):
  1. MBA in Marketing /Operations with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
• Executive (Ash Technologies):
  1. Ph.D. in any area of Mechanical/Civil/Electrical in a field related to ‘Bulk Ash handling system’ from a Recognized university/ Institute.2. ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical in a field related to ‘Bulk Ash handling system with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification research/Industrial experience in the Design of Ash /Material handling System Added experience of erection & commissioning of the aforesaid system shall be preferable3. B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/C&I with at least 60% marks from a  recognized university/institute and a minimum of  7 years of post-qualification research/Industrial experience in the Design of Ash /Material handling System Added experience in erection & commissioning of the aforesaid system shall be preferable.
• Executive (Non-Destructive Evaluation):
  1. Ph. D. in Mechanical/Metallurgical/ Electrical from a Recognized University/ Institute.2. ME/ M. Tech Mechanical/Metallurgical/ Electrical with at least 60% marks from a Recognized University/ Institute, and minimum post-qualification experience of 3 years in the health & life assessment of power plant components in the field using NDE methods. Experience with in-situ metallography will be preferable.3. B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical/ Electrical or MSc in Physics with at least 60% marks from a  recognized university/institute and minimum post-qualification experience of 5 years in the health & life assessment of power plant components in the field using NDE methods. • Executive (Analytical Chemistry):
  1. Ph. D. in Chemistry from a Recognized University/ Institute. and strong laboratory analytical skills in handling sophisticated instruments for water, resin, deposit, coal, and oil-related testing, like Spectrophotometer/ Microwave Digester/ lon Chromatograph, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, and ICP/ICP-MS/DGA Automatic Bomb calorimeter/RPVOT.2.M. Tech in Chemistry with at least 60% marks from a Recognized University/ Institute and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience with strong laboratory analytical skills in handling sophisticated instruments for water, resin, deposit, coal, and oil-related testing, like Spectrophotometer/ Microwave Digester/ lon Chromatograph, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, and ICP/ICP-MS/DGA Automatic Bomb calorimeter/RPVOT.3. M. Tech in Metallurgy/Material Science with at least 60% marks from a Recognized University/ Institute and minimum post-qualification experience of 5 years in the field of Metallurgy/ microstructural analysis/ mechanical property correlation study/failure analysis. Preference will be given who have exposure in the power plant metallurgy or the relevant field given in the job description.3. B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc in Metallurgy/Material Science with at least 60% marks from a  recognized university/institute and minimum post-qualification experience of 7 years in the field of Metallurgy/ microstructural analysis/ mechanical property correlation study/failure analysis. Preference will be given who have exposure to power plant metallurgy or in the relevant field given in the job description.

Age Limit

• The applicant’s upper age limit should be 35 to 45 years.

Selection  Process

• The selection will be online screening, shortlisting, and interviews, and before joining candidates will have to undergo a medical examination at any of the NTPC hospitals.
