Mechanical Design Engineer

Work at a major Japanese energy service company, we are looking for

• FS and OE work related to plant construction for overseas LNG terminals and for those who have experience in Mechanical Design of LNG, Chemical plant.
• Project Management.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who can communicate with overseas clients!

Japanese language skills are not required, support for visa acquisition when coming to Japan is fully covered by us!!

Job description :

• Engineering related work such as planning, design, construction and installation of LNG terminals, as well as the survey, design and construction of high and medium pressure pipelines and governor stations (pressure reducing facilities).

• Comprehensive plant engineering, including engineering for the construction of overseas LNG terminals.

• FS (Feasibility Study)

• Feasibility studies, estimation of equipment and operating costs, etc.

• OE (Owner’s Engineering)

• Design support for machinery and equipment in plants.

• You will in charge of overseas projects, and mostly will be communicating in English via email and online meetings on a daily basis.

• At present, the interactions are via online platforms with different clients and customers, but there is a possibility of travelling overseas in the near future!!

• There is a possibility of travelling abroad (depending on the project, which is mainly in and around Asia).

There are more than 100 LNG terminal construction engineering projects in more than 20 countries.

8:45 – 17:30 (with flexible working hours)

Holidays: 2 days off per week, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, paid leave, special leave

(Congratulation or condolence leave, maternity leave, etc.)

125 days off per year.

Employment status: Full-time employee

Type of employment: Full-time employee.

Annual salary: approx. 5 to 5-8 million yen/year

Bonus: Twice a year (June and December)

Requirements :

• Language: English business level

• Educational background: Mechanical field (B.tech)

• If in case you have any Japanese language certifications you will be required to submit a copy of it.
