Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure

Key tasks

Job Responsibilities
– Target outbound travel agency and DMC’s to increase the leisure business for Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights
– Generate and maintain customers of defined accounts/areas through sales activities
– Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales, emails and telephone calls.
– Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in a timely manner.
– Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments, and confirmation to the client.
– Ensure property rates sheets are accurate at all times.
– Communicate any obstacles to completing action plans to the Assistant Director of Sales.
– To arrange and manage familiarization/educational trips in line with business needs
– Entertain clients and potential clients in the hotel outlets to showcase our property.

Requirements

Skills
– Level of Education Master / MBA Areas of study Sales Professional experiences 3 to 5 years

Languages essential
– English Optional languages
– Arabic
– Russian (Working level)

Essential and optional requirements

Specific Requirements
– With experience in handling European Market local and international DMC’s.
– Candidate must be based in UAE
– Preferable with hotel experience in luxury hotels
– Preferable female and European National with a hospitality degree.
– Action-oriented and sales are driven by diverse industry experience in sales and operation in upscale hotels.
– Proven the ability to impact business growth and maximize revenues through achievements of goals and targets
