• B.Sc/ B.Tech/ B.E. Degree in Engineering (Civil)/ diploma or equivalent

• should get passed in sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers, India in Civil
  Engineering.

Assistant Engineer (Civil)

• Should have completed a Degree in Civil Engineering from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

• Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers in India in Civil Engineering.

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

• should possess B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering the Kerala University or its equivalent, or

• B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University or its equivalent, or

• Associate Membership Diploma of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Mechanical Engineering or any other qualifications recognized as equivalent to a degree.
